Q. Are there semesters, starting times and completion dates at the Christian Agape Discipleship Institute?

 

A. No. You may begin any day of the month you wish to take the course at your own pace.

 

Q. Do we have to attend classes?

 

No. The convenience of our program is that you can take the courses at your own pace.

 

Q. Do you have someone I can talk to if I don’t understand something as I am studying?

 

A., Live instructors and counselors are available to you. You will have a mentor assigned to you.

 

Q. Are there any additional fees that I must pay?

 

A. There is a fee for registration, materials and credit hours. An additional fee is required should you choose to obtain chaplain’s licensing, also there is a graduation fee and a certificate fee.

 

Do I get books?

 

A. You will receive 12 books for the course. Cost is included in the tuition.

 

Q. How much is the chaplain’s license?

 

A. Upon completion of the course you will be eligible to apply for a chaplain’s license. You are not purchasing a license. Our fees reflect your tithe to our ministry. Our Board has set the tithe fee to $ 50.00 fee per year, for registration as a licensed chaplain. Plus a monthly love offering.

 

Q. If I can’t afford the entire amount for the courses, do you have a payment plan?

 

Yes, we have a payment plan. You can read it on your application.

 

Q. Is there a scholarship program?

 

A. No, we do not have a scholarship program at present, as we receive contributions we will set a portion aside for scholarships.

 

Q. Is you course available in another language?

 

A. Spanish.

 

Q. Are you an accredited school?

 

Yes. Our credits are recognized by: International Theology Association, Anglo-American Catholic Orthodox Union. Transferability depends largely upon the accrediting agency on the school you are transferring to. We do provide transcripts. However we do not guarantee that you will have success with every school, as there are literally dozens of accrediting agencies when it comes to Bible based teaching. Some schools may accept our program on an “equivalency” credit basis if they do not recognize our agency. Our, course materials are approved by the Evangelical Training Association. Our, instructors are approved by the Evangelical Training Association.

 

Q. What is the exact title I will receive through your program?

 

A. Upon successful completion you will receive a Bachelors of Divinity in practical Bible Theology.

 

Q. Who keeps the records if and when I perform weddings, baptisms and funerals?

 

If you are approved for chaplain’s licensing you will be required by law to keep a record of all weddings that you perform. Baptisms and funerals are optional but it is suggested you keep a record of them, also.
